We collect what is necessary to ship a bottle and answer an email. Nothing else. We do not sell your data.
what we collect
When you place an order, we collect your name, shipping address, billing address, email, phone (only if you opt into shipment SMS), and the products you bought. We do not collect or store full credit-card numbers — those go directly to our payment processor (Shopify Payments / Stripe).
When you sign up for the journal, we collect your email. When you write to us, we keep the email you wrote from. Cookies on the site are limited to what is needed to remember your cart and your locale.
what we do with it
We use your information to fulfil orders, answer correspondence, send the rare journal email you signed up for, and keep our books. We do not run third-party ad pixels for retargeting on this domain. Analytics are aggregated and anonymised.
who we share it with
Shipping carriers (to deliver the parcel). Our payment processor (to settle the transaction). Our email provider, Resend (to send the confirmation and the journal). Our accountancy firm (to file taxes). That is the list. We do not share your information with marketing brokers, data brokers, or social platforms.
your rights
You can request a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@tideline.store with the subject line "data request" and we will respond within thirty days. EU and UK customers have the rights granted by GDPR; California customers have the rights granted by CCPA. We honour both as a baseline, regardless of where you live.
cookies
Functional cookies only — cart contents, preferred locale, login session for the customer account. No third-party advertising cookies. The site does not load Facebook, TikTok, or Google Ads pixels.
